Who is HCCUA?

And how does their partnership with iCan work?

The Health Care Credit Union Association (HCCUA), a not-for-profit organization established in 1985, strives to provide access to exceptionally valuable benefits to better the physical, financial, and personal health of their members and their families. To help them do just that, they have chosen to partner with the iCan Group, LLC, to manage and support their member programs and benefits.

The Ican Group includes Ican Benefit Group, LLC and Ican Insurance, LLC, which are licensed insurance agencies ("Ican"), not insurance companies. Plans offered through Ican are underwritten by A.M. Best "Highly Rated" insurance companies that vary by plan and state. Ican offers both individually underwritten major medical plans and guaranteed acceptance group plans. Major medical coverage availability and rates depend on a variety of factors, including health condition and medical history, and not everyone will qualify for such coverage. *Guaranteed acceptance plans provide coverage under group limited benefit indemnity policies issued to a bona fide association, require association membership, have limitations and exclusions, including pre-existing condition exclusions, and are not the same as and are not a substitute for major medical insurance. Ican has licensed agents for all 50 states, but the plans offered by Ican are not available in every state.
